All aboard! Explore the wonders of the world without leaving Miami Beach’s world-famous New World Center. NWS’s new Conducting Fellow Chad Goodman leads a musical trip of a lifetime, collecting passport stamps in Bernstein’s New York, Tchaikovsky’s Russia, Sowande’s Africa, Sibelius’ Finland, Ginastera’s Argentina, Kim’s South Korea and more. Open a child’s ears to a global adventure – no “are we there yet?” needed. Bon voyage!
Concerts for Kids are designed with young ones—ages four to nine—in mind. Arrive early to experience a variety of activities by local partners and NWS’s Instrument Zoo!
These performances will be sensory-friendly. We welcome children with Sensory Processing Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders to experience the concert live in the hall. Noise-reduction headsets and a quiet room will be available.
