SOBRE EL EVENTO
You don't want to miss out on all the fun with great food, shopping, shows, live entertainment, and music (just to mention a few)! You will have a fantastic time running into old friends, and making new ones! There will be activities for every age from: Children's World,Live Entertainment and Music on another stage!!! The River Cities Festival is right around the corner. Of course, there will be plenty of multicultural delicious food and drinks, a Children’s World full of rides and games, outstanding entertainment at two stages, the Mega Reunion, Chili and Baking contests, the 5K Run, and the River Ride.
Opening Night is Friday, April 12 and it starts at 5:30 p.m. and goes until midnight. After the opening ceremonies, the fun officially will begin!
DJ WiWi will be manning the stage at the east end of Canal Street with live music, salsa dancing, and more.
Saturday is High Schools Reunion Day at the River Cities Festival. It’s the perfect time to gather with old friends to share new times. The Mega Reunion for Miami Springs High School alums will highlight Saturday night but there is no reason not to plan your own reunion for that day, with the hours of operation from 11 a.m. to midnight.
Also on Saturday is the The 7th Annual River Cities Festival 5K Run/Walk at the Circle.
Pre-Registration is open now at the Community Center for $10.
Race Day Registration 6:00am-6:30am at the circle for $15.
Shotgun Start at 7am in front of the barber shop.
Raffle and refreshments for all participants to follow
T-shirts while supplies last.

Sunday is Family Day, the perfect time for a family get together after church — maybe to taste a variety of chilies or to sit on blankets while enjoying the entertainment, or to just roam the festival grounds for bargains and brunch.

La noche de apertura es el viernes 12 de abril y comienza a las 5:30 p.m. y va hasta la medianoche. Después de la ceremonia de apertura, ¡la diversión comenzará oficialmente!
DJ WiWi estará a cargo del escenario en el extremo este del Canal Street con música en vivo, baile de salsa y más.
El sábado es el día de la reunión de las escuelas secundarias en el festival River Cities. Es el momento perfecto para reunirse con viejos amigos para compartir nuevos tiempos. La mega reunión para exalumnos de Miami Springs High School destacará la noche del sábado, pero no hay razón para no planear su propia reunión para ese día, con el horario de atención de 11 a.m. a medianoche. También el sábado es el 7º Festival Anual de River Cities 5K Run / Walk at the Circle.
La preinscripción está abierta ahora en el Centro Comunitario por $ 10.
