Do you like dance, acrobatics, and music? Then Capoeira is for you! Join us on Saturday, March 14th for this unique cultural experience! One of our talented Artist in Residence, Julio Arruda dos Santos of EVOLVE Miami Team, is providing Deering Estate guests with a unique cultural experience: Capoeira! Join us on Saturday, March 14th at the Deering Estate for some Capoeira lessons. Combining fitness and art, Julio will offer a 10 minute demonstration and then teach you the fundamentals of Capoeira and why this Afro-Brazilian form of martial arts can be beneficial! The best part: you get to enjoy this experience surrounded by the Deering Estate's beautiful Historic Homes, Biscayne Bay and Nature Preserve! Event is FREE with Park Admission.
