SOBRE EL EVENTO
Miami City Ballet’s Community Engagement program is a look at the art of ballet for children and families throughout South Florida.
Miami City Ballet enchants the audience with its first act of A Midsumyumer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare’s timeless tale of fairies, forests, love, magic, reality and illusion. Featuring MCB dancers (along with dance students and vocalists), Felix Mendelssohn’s glorious music, along with spectacular sets and costumes by acclaimed artist Michele Oka Doner, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a dazzling spectacle for families and audiences of all ages.
MCB School Ensemble, composed of the Pre-Professional Division of Miami City Ballet School, also perform in MCB Community Engagement program. By increasing community access to artistic programming of world class excellence, students are impacted by the power of dance, storytelling and serve as ambassadors for Miami City Ballet and the arts.
