Pirates of Penzance

 Directed by Amy Davis with choreography by Don Jeanis.  Gilbert and Sullivan's most popular and beloved show since its premiere in 1879, The Pirates of Penzance, is a rollickling, funny story of a band of soft-hearted pirates. Young Frederic was mistakenly appenticed to a pirate (instead of a pilot) by his nursemaid Ruth and is now twenty-one and chooses to abandon his profession and "lead a blameless life henceforth", and feels he has no choice but to devote himself to their extermination.  Once upon the shore, Frederic stumbles across a group of beautiful maidens. He immediately falls in love with Mabel, and she with Frederic. What Frederic has forgotten, however, is that there are pirates about! Suddenly his old comrades are upon them! The lonely pirates are delighted by the beauty of the ladies and claim them as their brides. But the girls' father, Major-General Stanley, arrives just in the nick of time and claims untruthfully to be an orphan assuring his daughters' release.  The General is terrified that the pirates will uncover his lie, but Frederic eases his fears, promising to apprehend the band of pirates. However, when Frederic learns that, due to a technicality, he is still indentured to the pirates, the complications abound.  

Pirate stars Max Rigaud as Frederic, Alex  Leon as The Sergeant of Police, Alexander Ruiseco as Major-General, Nikita Orlhac as Mabel, Aurora Wynter as Ruth and Otto Montenegro as The Pirate King.  The production also features Aaron Bravo, Francisco Ortega, Monika Lambe, Jennifer Svedberg-Snyder, Chae Jeong Ahn, Alexander Brand, Danniel Giraldo, JImena Guevara, Elisa Hidalgo, Jerry Killlingsworth,Kevin Martinez, Ericka Rivas Navarro, Kariangelis Rivas Navarro, Marlon Rodriguez and Tylee Hooker.
