About The Event
Created specifically for children with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorders and global developmental delays, this special event provides a modified and supportive environment for children to experience the museum with their families.
Sensory-based activities include:
- art programs
- stage performances
- yoga & calming movement programming
- the opportunity for families to meet and speak with Occupational Therapists & Speech Pathologists
In addition to special programming, guests can explore our NEW Snoezelen® Multi-Sensory Environment, a relaxing space that help reduce agitation and anxiety, engage and delight the user, stimulate reactions, and encourage communication.
