Wings Over Homestead organizers are really excited to have the T-birds and Golden Knights back in Homestead. In 2016, the air show was attended by more than 150,000 people making it one of the largest shows attended in the country.

The Thunderbirds squadron is an Air Combat Command unit composed of eight pilots (including six demonstration pilots), four support officers, four civilians and more than 100 enlisted personnel performing in almost 30 job specialties.

Flying the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon, more than 280 million people in all 50 states and 57 foreign countries have seen the red, white, and blue jets in more than 3,500 aerial demonstrations.

Also announced for the 2018 show is the U.S. Army parachute team, The Golden Knights. The “Knights” have performed more than 16,000 shows in all 50 states and 48 countries, reaching more than 20,000 people per show with their spectacular live parachutes…
